My mother-in-law talks bad about me to others. She talks very negatively about me to relatives and others. She's doing this since a year. I've been married for a year. My husband doesn't support me financially and mentally. He listens only to his mother. He doesn't believe me when I tell what his mother is talking about me. His mother is becoming a wall between us. She can't see u together. How to live with such in-laws?

in this situation, your remedy lies before a magistrate under Domestic Violence Act. You may seek restraining orders against your mother in law refraining her from defaming you and causing mental agony and lowering your reputation in the eyes of right minded people of the society.
