Legal Question in Family Law in India

Me n my wife got married in 2007 in India and we stayed at my parents home, where I was living since 2004 with my parents. Now my father is having problems with my wife and he wants us to move out. He creates unnecessary fights to trouble us. He wants to sell this property and doesn't want to give us anything. Do we have any rights, as its our matrimonial home.

if it is self acquired property of your father, you both have no right.
