Does the news of amendement in divorce law on 17th of July 2013 says that now the cooling period of 6 months in mutual consent divorce can be waved off? I have already filed first motion on 30th march 2013. the second motion date is 30th september 2013. We are already seperated more than 1.5 years. CAn the cooling period be waved off?

This is what I read in the newspapers:
"The cabinet, however, decided to retain the mandatory six-month cooling-off period, which the Bill had proposed to do away with in case of divorce with mutual consent."
As of now, no law permits waving off the cooling period.
