Legal Question in Family Law in South Africa

If a parent dies and two gaurdians are appointed and they are not in a relationship with eachorther but with other people...how does the male gain custody of the child without him and the other gaurdian living togeher?What can he do to better his chances to gain custady or at least joint custody?Prove of income,stable home ???

Guardianship is different to custody and does not require any shared living arrangements. Joint guardians will jointly decide on matters concerning the child. Custody relates to who the child lives with day to day. The question of custody is governed by the best interests of the child.
