Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi I am a punjabi hindu arora girl hailing from delhi, with mother from alwar and father from chandigarh, settled in delhi. I wish to marry my punjabi khatri cross cousin, my maternal uncle (real mama)' s son who is settled in Mumbai, belonging to Kota. We are deeply committed to each other and wish to spend our life together. We understand that this marriage falls in degree of prohibited relationship under Hindu Marriage Act, and we fear my father may take legal action against us as he is in Indian Navy with high contacts.

We trust your experience and request your proficient advice so we can legally marry.
