Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

Hi. I'm asking a question on behalf of a close friend. He and his wife are married since last 2.5 years and they have a daughter aged 1 yr and 2 months. the wife has multiple times abused the husband and often asks the husband to throw the parents out of the house. she wants to do the job in some other city and also always compels that she wants to settle abroad whereas the husband has a well settled job and setup. the wife has multiple times verbally, on call and through text msg disowned the child and would simply ask the husband to take care of the child as its his child and she has got to pursue her dreams and career and then later she would say its my child, no one take her away. in this situation, the husband doesnt ever want to disolve the marrriage either but she always says, she wants divorce and all that and that she would go to court and all that. in such a situation, where the husband doesnt want to end the marriage and the wife multiple times has disowned the child, goes to her parents without her husband's permission, all the way to another city without her child. whats the stance or the husband if the wife goes to the court or the custody of the child? moreoever she's a patient of Obsessive compulsive disorder and psychosocially a detached person too, the husband himself is a doctor and this lady is a microbiologist. she abuses the husband but the husband bears it for his daughter. does this situation favor the husband? I'll be looking forward to your answer as this friend is quite upset about the situation.

it is not clear, that your question of favouring circumstances is about post-divorce , or with continued marriage. anyhow as per given scenario your friend has a case. you can call for further discussion 0323 4638149.
