Legal Question in Family Law in India
i got registered marriage with my husband in the year 2006 but we never stayed together in a matrimonial home, we were just like lovers to society.after 3 years his behavior started changing & also had an affair with his colleague & he use to torture & beat me & my salary from me.it was getting too tough to handle him by me then i applied for mutual divorce on my husband in the year 2010 but he never turned to court till the end of the case. Then i closed mutual divorce case & then i applied for ex party divorce on the grounds of cruelty & desertion on my husband in the year 2012 but my case got dismissed this year after 3 notice & evidence . What does dismissed really mean? Am i suppose to take my case further to get divorce or can i stop my case here itself & move in my life by getting married. Please help with a genuine answer. Thank you.

dear client if yr case get dismissed by family court then u can appeal before high court for that. for any legal help call me on 9422611385

If your husband was proceeded ex parte, your could should not have been dismissed. Anyway, you may better pursue your legal remedies with the help of a lawyer.
Dismiss mean court rejected to grant you divorce.
There are other ways to get divorce, but i think you were not guided by an expert.
