Does registration of marriage and such public dealings put in abeyance during the time of general election by the relevant public offices? Is this part of the moral conduct of law etc under the peoples representation act of India?

Any holiday is legal only if ordered by the govt and notification in this regard. Such notifications are issued generally in election time.
