Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hello respected,

I married in Feb this year..this is a love marriage..my family was against it so I ran away n got married. My husband's family were ready for our relation.

As I married in the Feb..after that my family made a sort of deal with my in laws that we didn't tell anyone in the area about this...we need to keep our prestige safe...so we will keep her with us and within a year we will pretend the whole marriage thing again for the society...they will make it look like arranged marriage and after that you can take her..

So I convinced my in laws n they sent me at my house back..

We married in arya samaj mandir..we have certificate of it..n we keep on meeting each other..

We talk everyday n meet once in month or twice..

So now some one told my in laws that if we live apart for 1 year..we will get automatically divorced.

So is that true?

If yes then what proofs should I give to the court to stop the divorce or to prove it void?

1) It is not correct. They may be preparing ground for divorce sweetly.

2) U shd go to in-laws house and stay there.

3) Change ur residential address proof to matrimonial house like adhaar,

ration card, voter card etc. and record any tangible evidence of ur stay there.

4) This will keep u safe, if ur in-laws in future turn hostile and charge u

voluntarily left matrimonial home.
