Legal Question in Family Law in Bangladesh
hello. im from Romania, S-E of Europe. i was married with a bengali guy, who says he asked for divorce on 25 february 2014, but i still didnt get any official notification here. can you please advice me what can i do for receiving that notification or find out if he really divorced me and if he did but i never got such notification, what we both have to do? thank you in advance, best regards, A'isha Naveer

Whether your husband really divorced you is a matter to be searched first. It is difficult to find out if your husband did not register the divorce before the marriage/divorce registrar of his locality. You may employ some one to find out at the office of the marriage/divorce registrar of his locality. If nothing is found, you need to know about the registry office from him. After finding the office you can collect a copy of that. If u agree we may do the same for you or recommend someone else.
