I am 24 , my parents divorced when I was 4 and I live with my mom thereafter.

She got married 5 years before & now I want to change my legal documents to my stepdad name for which gadget is been already made, but i face a problem for my passport work.

how to legally convert to my stepdad name ?

or I need to have a adoption letter made by me on my dad ?

Since you are a major.... you need not be adopted. Need to check the other aspects.

There are different provision by which you can get your step-father's name as your father name.

1. Suit

2. Affidavit;

3. Adoption
