Sir i divorced 5months ago, my x is silent on paying my haq meher.. his salary is above 1 lakh n i have two kids above age 7 .. n he just gives 20000 per month children expenses.. when i ask for haq meher he say le skti ho to le lo jao supreme court chali jao... i m afraid tht by phenomenon of tareekh pe tareekh will waste my time and it might take years even he said k i will say k mere pass nhe itni raqm i cant pay so monthly 5000 court dila skte ha in such a way... i m a govt officer so afraid k by time waste n getting nothing in result. Kindly guide how much time it takes of recovery cases.

Under the law he is bound to pay you your dower. Courts will favour you. Don't worry when he'll be summoned by the court he himself will pay you your dower without any ifs and butts.
