Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hello Sir,

It was a love marriage we both convinced our families for our marriage. I took care of his parents and his family as my own. But my husband was never satisfied, he used to taunt me all the time and drag my family in to our fights. Always he used to say that me and my family literally should be like slave to him and his family. Always he used to complain to me that we didn't respect him properly even after my mom took care of him well. Actually they had put lot of conditions. marriage, engagement, gifts, gold n silver articles, cash for his sisters everything we did according to their customs and wish. My family agreed to all that just for me and my family wanted both of us to be happy. My husband after marriage took me for granted.

I was in a abusive relationship with my husband. He used to torture me, beat me, slap me for no reason.Also he used to use filthy language and abuse me and my family for no reason. He restricted me talking to my family, used to put lot of conditions like i should cut all ties with my family, i should quit my job, called me characterless, he even spoke bad things about my late Dad and questioned my upbringing. He actually did all this during my pregnancy without even thinking it ll impact out baby. I had complications due to severe stress and strain and doc advised a month long bed rest. One such day I was talking to my family, he came n slapped me, pulled my hair, pushed me to the floor n dragged me even after requesting him to stop he didn't stop and I was scared so much I was very weak. I had to raise police complaint for the abuse to stop and police tried to compromise the situation and gave a warning to my husband and left. Later our families met for discussion, my husband he completely denied saying he never abused me, never beat me, and blamed me that I raised a false police complaint against him and he said he wants to be with me, but It was surprising for me why he was lying and he called me a home breaker, characterless, psycho n many more which I can't even write here. I clearly told if he is lying and tomorrow he can do to the same thing later deny that nothing happened and my safety and my baby safety was important, So I stayed with my family. I was going through heavy mental emotional stress. Due to all this mental n physical abuse my complications increased and lost my baby. All this things happened within 6 months of our marriage. I thought of filing DV case against him but didn't want to go through mental torture anymore after I lost my baby I went into depression. Its been 7 months I am out of my marriage. My family are supporting me at this crucial stage. They helped me to come out of this trauma.

I have applied for divorce its been one and half month. But he hasn't received notice yet. How long will it take for the court to send notice ? What are the next steps. I didn't get clear information on this so writing here please help me.
