sir i was married at before few months,but my husbend and him family to torcher of want to dowry,so iam come back on my mother home,but now he send to me a divorce notice and file the case on court,iam not willing to live with him.but my family is poor family,i want some settlement for my future,but he blame me.but honorly am not reason to that blames.now what i do to get divorce and settlement,plz give some suggestion for this case

1) File 498A and DV case against ur husband with all the oral and recorded evidences, if any on hand. Even if not ur sole deposition will serve the purpose. U need not create false statements. If ur husband made let it be. The court can understand the situation.

2) Thereafter the divorce petition will be taken care of.

3) Consult local experienced lawyer of repute and any NGO women organizations and seek their help.

4) If u are financially not able to pay lawyer fee and court expenses, free legal aid cell will provide pro bono lawyers.
