for a Muslim man ,if he wishes to divorce his wife then under Muslim Sharia Law there is a set procedure of divorce which has to be followed in order to pronounce or send divorce.

Dear, in shariah talaq is completed, but to complete in accordance with local laws, notice in writting must be served upon wife.
