Legal Question in Family Law in India

Sir,

My sister got married in july 2011 following all the hindu marriage rituals but the marriage is not regester as her husband and in laws never wants to register the marriage. Immediately after her marriage her husband and in laws srart torturing and mentally harrasing her and doesnt take care of her health and basic needs. All the time they send my sister to our home and refuses to take her back.Last 2 months ago her husband leave her to my home and now doesnt keep any contact . We have tried to reach him over phone but he kept his phone in off mode. We even went to their home and found nobody is there. Now we are sensing some foul play like he is getting married to another girl.

Kindly help me in this regard. Like how to approach and what are the other options that we have

dear client yr sister can file complaint with women cell of police against husband and in laws under sec 498 a of Indian penal code for dowry harassment. she can also file domestic violence case for mental harassment. she can ask monthly maintenance from husband by filing case under sec 125 of criminal procedure code. she can file divorce on the ground of cruelty. for detail discussion call me
