Hi Sir/Madam

I have applied for divorce before 18 months due to dowery harrasement. I have a 3 years old kid. In the meantime my husband told me to realise his mistakes and told me to take care well me and my child. So that i gave "Not Press" divorce notice. But Now he is avoiding me and my child and ready to give divorce and now i don't want to give divorce. I will live separate with my child if he is not ready to live with me BUT I DONT WANT TO GIVE DIVORCE. He is a goverment employee got Rs.35000 pm, and i am also working got Rs.25000 pm. Is it possible to live separate in india ? Shall i claim maintenance for my child.

1) Yes. If he files Divorce petition, u can contest it.

2) U may file RCR and if required DV cases for mental cruelty.

U can claim maintenance.
