Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi sir,

My sister got married 20years ago, then she had two childrens one his male and another one is female. my brother in law wants one more male child but not happend, then he wants to another marriage for childrens, then my sister has refused. My brother in law torture her by drinking alcohol daily, then she accepted for his second marriage and he married the another girl, but at the time of marriage he has two houses and one site are there, he said that the property divides into two parts, one part is to my sister and two childrens another part is for his second wife, himself. we not yet complained any police station, his brothers are supported to dont divide the property and leave them alone. so please give me advice to get her property and female child (21 y) marriage.

His second marriage is illegal as per Hindu Marriage Act. But if his second marriage subsists for a longer period, the second wife and her children can probably claim a share in property. So, the safest way is to challenge the second marriage itself. You have lots of other options too.
