Legal Question in Family Law in India

Sir

My Wife chose to leave her matrimonial home on April 9, 2014 stating my angst towards her behavior and she being incommunicado with me, since our marriage, her insinuations, insubordination, ineffable & intimidating behavior towards me, resulted in my loss of temper by being abusive & physical sometimes upon intimidation from her by lying relentlessly and having an affair with a family friend, which upon reading her text messages and later on confrontation was stated as a mistake but i was the root cause of it!

In spite of the past i still wish to have her back as my son (26 years) though staying with her is feeling bad about us divorcing and now my in-laws have stated that for 2 1/2 Years my Astrological signs are very bad as noticed after consultations and her friends and normally the company she keeps is a very bad influence upon her are nearly all are estranged from their spouses.

In spite of repeated requests, steps and efforts made by me she adamantly refuses to change her stand and does not offer any concrete decision of returning and every time quotes - as not given any thought to it- unquote. It is just delaying tactics of her accorded by her family too.

In such a case what should be the course of action, for me to maintain the status quo of our marriage under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955!

Two options are there: One is RCR and another Divorce. You can move a petition u/s 9. But even if a decree of RCR is passed in your favor, practically court can't force her to join you. Contact for detail.
