Legal Question in Family Law in India

My sister in law decided to walk away from a 9yr old marriage with my brother's and her 7yr old son. Can she file a case of dowry even though none was asked/given, only gifts exchanged and can she make a claim to my Mother's/ Family jewels? What else can she claim for? Also can my brother ask for the custody of the child? Thanks!

she can claim her streedhan which would include the jwelery received by her in marriage from both the sides. how long since she has left. it would be better if you consulted a lawyer to take the best possible steps. for further query contact 9312411481.
