Legal Question in Family Law in India
My sister got married in 2012 and soon after that she faced lots of abuses and new dowry demands in her matrimonial home. So she filed case for domestic violence and dowry case against her in-laws. Its been nearly 1 year now for all the cases ongoing but none of them have recorded my her statement in court. Now if we plan for filling divorce case not mutual, how that will effect the ongoing cases? Also my sister is doctor hence denied for any kind of maintenance by court. Please suggest a way forward as I don't like to wait for results of all the cases for her life to move on.
