Legal Question in Family Law in Bangladesh

Hi, My sister is 30 yrs old & got married last 6 years.she has 4 years old girl baby. now my sister's in laws torching her by mentally & physically. Her in laws house threaten her by saying that " u go with ur parents, we won't give u our grand daughter with u" . My question is - who will get the first right for child custody ,mother or father for a 4 years old girl baby.

N.B : My sister is unemployed & her husband has no strong source of income.

Law thinks more about the well being of a child rather the right of a parent. However law assumes mother to be better custodian unless she looses her right due to certain reasons. In your case your sister has a good chance to get the custody if the same is challenged.
