Legal Question in Family Law in India
we are three sisters and one brother all are married. the property is in the name of my mother, do the sisiters have any rigth in the property or only my brother has whole right to the property?

Both brothers and sisters are equally entitled to get equal share in the property.

Daughters have equal rights at par with their brothers since the implementation of HSA 2005 in all type of properties left by their father or mother.Except Partition of dwelling house is subject to approval of son. Only daughter cannot claim partition of only residential house till all son want it.
