Legal Question in Family Law in India

My son is on H1 visa & is granted divorce by Us court.HIs wife has filed acase under 498aat Delhi high court.Can cort force him for his personnel appearance even though he is represented by his lawyer here?

Firstly, 498A can't be directly filed into High Court. It must be in trial court. Secondly, an application for his exemption should be filed by the lawyer. Thirdly, it has to be seen upon which ground the divorce decree was granted so that, order of the same can be utilized in 498A.
