Legal Question in Family Law in India

I want to ask ,do a step son has right in the property self earned (Purchased and made by self/ Non ancestral) by his step mother.

We are a hindu family, we are totally 2 brothers and 1 sister, in which our elder brother is from my fathers 1st wife, and, me and my sister is from 2dn wife of my father i.e. my mother.

We have properties in 2 places ...

1) Ancestors (Late Grand Fathers Property)

2) Property wholly earned and made by my mother .

Do my brother (Step son of my mother ) have any right in my mothers property??

Still my mother and father are alive , i am asking this question because all the ancestral property is given to my step brother, and

i want to claim for my ancestral property, do he have right to claim my mothers property????
