Legal Question in Family Law in India

My uncle (father's brother) wants share in grandmothers gold belonging. his family was seperated around 20 years back and my grandmother and grandfather chose to stay with my parents. My grandfather deathwill only divided the property but the gold has no mention in it. does his claim justified

If your grand mother is alive and in possession of the gold belonging to your grand father, your uncle may claim a share.
