Legal Question in Family Law in India

My uncle got legally divorced from his wife in 2009. He gave 5 lakhs rs as a compensation to his wife and wife gave a written statement to her husband that she wont ask for any further compensation or demand share in his property. But in 2010 UPA govt introduced marriage bill where divorced woman will get 50% share in husband property. Now in 2014 on that basis the wife is asking share in his property. I want to know whether she can demand share legally?

Dear client that bill is not pass by Parliament yet so she can not ask share. If government pass that bill it will applicable to future marriages not to past marriages. For any legal help call me on 9422611385
