Legal Question in Family Law in India

We are undergoing Child Custody case, however I have changed my son's (7 years age)surname to my present husband's surname without any court order or adoption. I have done because he was facing identity crisis as post remarriage I have adopted my present husband's surname. This was done as per affidavite from court. Pls let know if this is any offence

the childs biological father may object to this. just hope he dosent. In fact by this you have created more identity crisis for the child. his birth certificate names his biological father and you have chANGED IT TO YOUR PRESENT HUSBANDS SIRNAME. What about the documents in school???the admission will be having his biologicals fathers name. why dont you resolve the issue amicably.
