at wht age can a father demand for child, if prior decision is against him as the child was of minor age

The father is a legal guardian and may be entitled to custody of a child from the age of 5 onwards; if he was denied custody before, he may challenge that order before higher courts; or apply again if there are additional grounds available.

generally the court allows custody of 8 to 12 yrs child to the father taking into consideration the well being of child and certain other facts.
