my wife has deserted me and taken my kid away with her my all efforts to reconcile have been futile now i want to file for divorce i have her smses asking me not to contact her and also that now we are independent emottionally and financially can sms act as proof for divorce and can i file for divorce based on smses

the text of the msgs may count for causing mental cruelty which is a ground for divorce, secondly desertion is another ground depending upon the period of seperation
