Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi my wife working and leaving infant baby in custody of maid. My wife is a govt employee and my daughter was born at my place. My daughter was taken care by me and my mother at our permanent residance. I am having good salary. My inlaws took my wife and infant baby on perfect of family function but later on my wife refused to come back and started making allegation. But at present my infant baby is being looked after by maid and mother out on work at different place and also not getting father love too. Just due to bad decision of my wife infant baby is suffering. I tried to make understand my wife all these but inlaws and wife not understanding this point as my inlaws themselves live separately. So can I claim child custody being as a father considering paramount welfare of child is with having permanent residance and joint family not with a working mother who has deserted her husband and living at a rented place and leaving infant baby in maid custody.
