Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
My father died in 1970 leaving behind his wife, 2 sons and a daughter( myself). My mother died in 1990. My brothers say that I will not get an equal share in our ancestral property as my father died prior to HSA 2005.
Does sec.8 HSA applicable. If so, according to that what am I entitled to?

Dear ma'am,
Since your parents have died before Hindu Succession Act 1956, as amended through 2005, then your entitled with the notional partition.
