Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
A piece of land belonged to me is in the dead end. The adjacent land owner constructed a gate and compound in municipality land and now i cant even enter into my land. This prob has been going on for 20 years. I have sent petitions to CM and Collector and i got replies that "instruction was given to municipality to remove encroachment". But the municipal commissioner got bribes from the adjacent land's owner and refusing to take any action. Is there any possibility to solve this without going to court. Is is possible for mandamus?

Dear Sir / Madam,
Before re-posting query, first do as directed ... I had specifically advised you to simultaneously lodge an FIR in the local Police Station against the neighbour ... for the Police to also concurrently initiate action in the matter. Keep the Court aside, as it may only mean waste of time. Initiate Police action.
Regards,
