Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Respected Sir
Initially property purchased jointly on me and my father's name. After some time my father was given RELINQUISH DEED for his share on my name and got it registered with Registrar. Presently my father is alive , can he withdraw Relinquish deed and take back his rights .
Kindly advice.
Thanks & Regards
Srinivasa Kumar

Dear Srinivasa,
If you have got the Relinquishment Deed registered and the title deeds of the property are already recorded and registered in your single name with the Tehsildar / District Registrar, there is no question of your father revoking the Relinquishment Deed.
