Hello, I want to what does this statement of ACTS OF PARLIAMENT
THE REPRESENTATION OF THE PEOPLE ACT, 1950 mean in simple language:
(1A) A person absenting himself temporarily from his place of ordinary residence shall not by reason thereof cease to be ordinarily resident therein."

Dear Sir / Madam,
It legally means : If an Indian citizen changes his place of residence within the country, he will continue to be a resident and ordinarily resident in India.
