Dear Sir / Madam,
Today is Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti !!
You should encash the cheque and if it is returned back unpaid, you should lodge a complaint for cheque bouncing and recovery under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1938.
Regards,
Dear Sir / Ma'am, You can present it to the Bank twice with these cheques, then if it gets bounce, then after you can sue U/s. 138 of the negotiable instrument act, for the dishonor of the cheques. Thank You, Kind Regards, Sanjay. K. Dixit, Advocate.
