Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
The sutuation is..... An elderly widow holds a huge property. She has four children, three male and one female, all of them are married and have their families. There is no will document created by the widow mother, yet these three brothers have been selling bits of this property by getting signatures on documents over last 3-4yrs from the mother and distributing the money amongst all three brothers without involving their sister. They did not even give any money generated out of such land leals to their mother. In this case does the sister (who is also married) has legal right to her mother's property and can claim portion of money generated by her brothers by selling off the land? Does she has any chance of winning the case if an FIR or case is filed by her against her brothers.

Dear Sir / Madam,
The elderly widow has been according her consent to the sale of part and parcels of the property. She has the sole right to refuse consent if her sons are not parting with the proceeds and giving her share. Being a purely family matter, the Police has nothing to do with the issue.
