Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
I have a younger brother who doesn't want to give my share (married elder daughter of the deceased person). My father died in the year 2002. He is also theartening to harm me.Request you guide me through the partition law.

Your query is not clear. You have a share in your parents property and no one can stop you from claiming that. If that is forcefully acquired by your brother, you can file a partition suit.

Dear Madam,
If your deceased father has left behind his Will, the title of the property vests in the name of the beneficiary named in the Will, vide a Probate from the Court. If your father has passed away intestate (without a Will) the title of the property vests in your mother alone.
