Legal Question in Health Care Law in India
Is there a law by which I can complain against the charges by a private hospital. I recently had to undergo a hand surgery at Sahara Hospital. The surgeon charged me Rs.30000/ and the anasthesiologist charged 7500/ for a 2 hour operation. Is there a law by which Government protects the public against exploitation by Private Hospitals?

you cannot challenge their costing. It is like a cup of tea is 5 Rs on the roadside and Rs 200/- in a 5 star. the difference of the price is the ambience the facilities provided. same goes for the pvt hospitals too.
