Legal Question in Immigration Law in United States
I have a B2 visa and it will expire on Aug 13, also I am filled for Asylum. I don't want to be out of status, so can I extend my B2 visa to be able to change my status to any visa type anytime?

You can file an I-539 application to extend the B2 visa period provided the application is received by USCIS before the date on your I-94 card.
You will need to provide proof that you have sufficient funds during the extended stay without working in the US.
