Legal Question in Immigration Law in United States
My boyfriend is an undocumented immigrant but entered into the country legally. I am a U.S. Citizen .We are probably not ready to get married at the moment. If he moves to another country , will it be hard to petition for him for for a green if we eventually get married.

If your boyfriend entered legally, how is he undocumented? Do you mean he overstayed his visa? If so and he has been "unlawfully present" in the United States, then if he leaves and tries to reenter, he may be barred for up to ten years. That would make it difficult to petition for him if/when you get married, but not impossible if he files a provisional waiver under the current law. I advise that you make an appointment to speak to a licensed and experienced immigration attorney in your area.
The fast answer based upon what information that you have provided is yes it will be very hard for him to return legally.
