Legal Question in Immigration Law in United States

hi. I'm an intern here in the US. I just wanna ask because my visa will expire on April 19 and me and my partner would like to get married. I just wanna know if how long is the process to get a green card? If more than a month is there any chance that I can get a permit or some type of visa to leave the country and re enter ?

If your partner is a US citizen, the process will take 3 to 6 months depending on a number of factors.

If you are still in good immigration status when the applications are filed, you can request Advance Parole to allow you to leave the US and return while the process continues.

Yes, you may apply for advance parole if you would like to leave the country. USCIS processing times vary. It depends on which city you will submit your case. We suggest you to consult with an immigration attorney to discuss in details about your case.
