In a mid-air drama, a Filipina woman gave birth to a child onboard an American Airways jet flying from Florida, USA to Manila, Philippines. The pilot received permission to land in Vietnam when it became clear there was a delivery in progress, but the baby was born before the plane could land. So what is the child's citizenship? Support your answer.

The citizenship is Filipino. The child's mother is a Filipino then the citizenship should be Filipino. This is citizenship by blood under the Constitution.
