Legal Question in Immigration Law in India
My wife has filed 498a ,506and other cases under DP act against me. Upon compromise her dad being a cop,filed a B Report and they have also informed me that they have completely closed the case infront of the magistrate.I am on my Australian permanent residence visa and I will be eligible for citizenship next year. WILL this case act as an obstacle in me getting my citizenship. Me and my wife are together now.

The cases are closed, which never ended in to conviction. So, there will not be any kind of problem. Normal questions are (1) Whether there is any conviction ; or (2) If any case is pertaining in any courtof law pertaining to commission of any crime.
Since you dont' fall either catagory, it should be a probelm.
