Dear Sir,
Our grand father bought a house in 1950's , unfortunately the documents were lost. How to get new documents.

You have to first find out the Survey or Resurvey No. of the land in which the house was constructed and then apply to the Sub Registrar of the State Government Registration department of the concerned area with the details of Doc.No. Date of purchase of the Land/ house etc. for copy document by paying the prescribed fees.
