Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India
My father in law invested jointly in a residential plot with his sister. Now its been more than 5 yrs now and he didnt get anything from that plot as his sister build her own house on that plot as my father in law has a bad habit of drinking. Please help

you can demand your half share from his sister. try to settle the matter amicably. are you sure it was a joint investment and not a gift by a brother to his sister??

Dear Sir / Madam,
If there is documentary evidence to show that your father-in-law is the joint owner of the residential plot, your father in law is entitled to claim a fair return on his investment in the purchase of the land from your aunt in law.
