Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India
Id like to know the legal status of a company that registered a trademark in 2001 but the current status of the company is dormant, however, the trademark is still registered. Does it stand legally or can it be challenged?

Since the Trade mark is still under the custody of the Company even though it is dormant, the owner of the mark is the Company and the Company can Assign/ License the usage of the mark by another Company who can be interested for monetising the mark for the benefits of the Company.
For this a valid Agreement has to be executed and applied to the Registering Authority with fees. If you wish, I can assist in this process once you finalise the party.
