I have the following queries

1. What were you doing when the person occupied your land for the construction.

2. Why did you not interfere till the building completion

3. When you came to know about the illegal construction.

4. Where is the property situated.

5. Have you got the Sale deed or any other title deed for the land registered in your favour.

6. Why you did not put fencing or compound wall to protect your land.

7. How you came to know about the illegal construction or occupation.

Dear Sir / Madam,

My colleague Rameshwaram has already asked you the preliminary questions, so I won't repeat them again. Moving forward, you may either think positively and act as in (a) or (b) below, or act negatively and do as in (c) below :

a) enter into a lease deed with the person who has constructed the house on your land, so that he pays you a lumpsum security deposit and monthly lease rental for using your land or;

b) agree to pay him the construction cost of the house and ask him / her to vacate the land;

c) file an eviction suit in the Court for demolition of the illegal house built on your land.
