What is the procedure of selling the idea to facebook or google?
I think i have got an interesting idea for an application that may be useful for Facebook or google. Could anyone suggest me how to contact them or what's the procedure?
Also, my friend is a part of this idea but he is working in an IT company so what are the legal issues related to hi current employer in case we share the idea with other firms?

Dear Sir / Madam,
To be on the safer side, your friend should check the terms and conditions of his / her appointment to confirm that there is no clause in the Appointment Letter that any inventions during the course of employment will remain the property of the Company.
