Legal Question in Intellectual Property in India
Is it required to register the Joint development agreement (JDA) between builder and land owner?. Is registration of JDA required to start construction work?.Do the apartment buyer have the right to ask for registered JDA ??

Yes. It is better to register the Joint Development Agreement between the Builder and the Owner since it will protect both from any future litigation. But normally in to day's business they are not registering the same. However, if either party insists over such registration, the other party shall oblige.
